Last year, we invited shop owners, tenants and landlords in Rushmoor to apply for shop front improvement grants and we are delighted to share with you some of the completed projects.

A total of 14 applications were successful and grants totalling close to £20,000 are being awarded to independent businesses across Aldershot, Farnborough and North Camp.

The Crafters Collective in Princes Mead shopping centre, Farnborough has received £627 towards the cost of new signage welcoming customers to the shop.

Focussed Framing in Lynchford Road, North Camp has received £558 to replace their exterior signage and add lettering to the windows.

In Aldershot town centre, China Oriental Supermarket in Wellington Street has received £1,715 towards the cost of colourful new shop window artwork, shop signage and an entrance floor carpet.

Grants of up to £2,000 (or up to 50% match funding) were funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and after the success of our first round of applications, we will be opening up the scheme for new applications very soon.
