Sadly, due to some extensive vandalism overnight, a section of The Meads shopping centre in Farnborough, from the bus interchange to Jetts gym, was closed on the morning of 17 April.
Update at 1.30pm: The shopping centre is now fully open again. The original news release is below.
A section of roof glass has been smashed and so the site remains unsafe.
We currently have contractors on site making safe broken glass at a high level.
While we assess the damage, there is no pedestrian access and shops in that area will need to remain closed. We will complete works as soon as we can.
Please do not try and access the southern entrance and the area between the bus interchange and Jetts Gym until we have made the area safe. The safety of our customers and businesses is our highest priority.
