Congratulations to Aldershot Town FC for creating history by reaching Wembley for the first time in their history after beating local rivals Woking in the FA Trophy semi-final on Saturday!
The Shots edged out their local rivals in a dramatic 2-1 win in front of a sellout crowd of over 7,000.
This is great news for the club and the town, and we are sure many of you will be already thinking about getting your final tickets!
The Shots will proudly walk out at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 11 May, where they will be playing the winners of the other semi-final, Spennymoor Town FC, who play in the Vanarama National League North.
The Leader of Rushmoor Borough Council, Councillor Gareth Williams, said:
“This is a proud moment for Aldershot and the whole of Rushmoor, showcasing the passion, determination, and talent that runs through our local team. The support from fans, both home and away, has been phenomenal and a huge part of the success of the club. We know many supporters will be turning out in full voice at Wembley!
“Let’s get behind The Shots as they prepare for a day to remember on the big stage!”
