Making sure our towns meet the needs of businesses and our residents is really important to us.
We know how important it is for local people to have access to decent homes.
At the heart of our vision is a commitment to building stronger, healthier communities.
We want streets and town centres to be clean, safe and welcoming and we have appointed a Pride in Place champion to encourage local people to get involved.
The Government has selected Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to be part of its Devolution Priority Programme. This means county and district councils joining together to create larger, unitary councils.
What we are doing to make equality at the heart of what we do and how we will make the council carbon-neutral.
