Aldershot West Conservation Area is an area designated as having special architectural or historic interest, the character of which it is desirable to preserve and enhance.
The Aldershot West Conservation Area was first designated in 1980 and also reviewed in 1983 and 1989.
There is currently no adopted character appraisal and management plan supporting the designation or current boundary.
Consultation
We consulted on a draft Aldershot West Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan between 29 August and 10 October 2023. In response to the consultation, it was suggested that two additional areas are added to the conservation area. As these changes did not form part of our previous consultation, we conducted a further consultation on these proposed additions.
The updated draft Aldershot West Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan consultation ended on Tuesday 11 February 2025.
We will review the responses we have received and decide whether to adopt the updated draft Aldershot West Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan.
