A special evening to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Everyone is invited to our free open-air community event, which gets under way at 8.45pm in Manor Park, Aldershot.
There will be music and readings, leading up to the lighting of our new beacon at 9.30pm.
We will be adding more information to this page, as we finalise the arrangements for the event.
National events
Our event is one of hundreds taking place as the nation comes together to honour and pay tribute to the Second World War generation from across the UK and Commonwealth. VE Day Beacons and Lamp Lights of Peace will be lit at the same time across the country.
