Proposal for four new mainland Hampshire unitary councils would bring services closer to residents

Rushmoor Borough Council is one of 12 councils across Hampshire behind a joint proposal for local government reorganisation that would split the county into four mainland unitary councils, bringing decisions on critical services closer to residents in north Hampshire.

Council launches consultation on parish and town council options

Residents in Rushmoor are being asked from if they would like to see parish and town councils introduced locally following proposals to reorganise local government in Hampshire.
